Islamic Ministry says the moon-sighting confirmation ceremony ahead of the holy month of Ramadan would be held on Friday this year. The Ministry said just like every year, any individual who had seen the moon should give his/her statement in front of a judge at a court in the Greater Male' area. RIYADH: The Supreme Court of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has asked citizens and residents in the Kingdom to search for the crescent of Ramadan 1443 on the evening of Friday, 29th Sha’ban 1443 according to Umm Al Qura Calendar corresponding to April 1st, 2022 and report any sightings to their nearest court. The Supreme Court’s special session will sit and deliberate on Friday evening the results of the crescent search and will issue a decision shortly after Isha Prayers. The Kingdom’s main observations are made from Sudair and Tumair and sightings from these cities are part of the official decision. ކިތަންމެ ބަލި ބޮޑުވިޔަސް، ބަލިމީހާއަށް ވެސް ނަމާދު އެޅުމެއް ނެތްކަމުގައި މިއަދު ހުކުރުޚުތުބާގައި ވިދާޅުވެއްޖެއެވެ. ކިތަންމެ ބަލި ބޮޑުވިޔަސް، ބަލިމީހާއަށް ވެސް ނަމާދު އެޅުމެއް ނެތެވެ. މިއަދު އަހަރެމެންނަށް ފެންނަނީ، މިއާ ޚިލާފު މަންޒަރެކެވެ. މީހަކު ހަމަ ބައްޔެއް ވެލާއިރަށް ނަމާދު ނުކޮށް ދޫކޮށްލާތަނެވެ. އެފަދަމީހުންނަށް ނަމާދު ކުރުން ވެފައިވަނީ އުފުލަން ޖެހިފައިވާ ބޮޑު ބުރައަކަށެވެ. ބައެއް މީހުން ނަމާދު ނުކޮށް ދޫކޮށްލަނީ ބަލި ފަސޭހަވުމުން އެ ނަމާދުތައް ޤަޟާ ކުރާނަމޭ ބުނަމުންނެވެ. ހަމައެއާއެކު، އެ ބަލީގައި މަރުވެއްޖެނަމަ، އެއީ އޭނާއަށް ލިބުނު ޢުޛުރެއް ކަމަށް އެދެކެގެންނެވެ. މިއީ ވަރަށް ބޮޑު ވަރަށް ބޮޑު އޮޅުމެކެވެ. މިގޮތަށް ޤަޟާ ކުރުމަށް ނިޔަތްގަނެގެން ވެސް، ނަމާދު އެޅުމަކީ ހުއްދަވެގެންވާނެ ކަމެއް ނޫނެވެ. ޝައިޠާނާ މުސްލިމުން ނަމާދާ ދުރުކުރުމަށްޓަކައި ވަރަށް ގިނަ ޙީލަތްތަކާއި މަކަރުތައް ހަދައި، ދުނިޔެ ރަންކޮށް ދައްކަތެވެ. ޝައިޠާނާއަށް މިވާނަމަ މުސްލިމުން ނަމާދާ މުޅިން ދުރުކުރެވޭތޯ ބަލާނެއެވެ. އާދަކޮށް ނަމާދު ކުރާ މީހަކުނަމަ، އޭނާ ބައެއް ނަމާދުތަކާ ދުރުހެލި ކުރެވޭތޯ ބަލާނެއެވެ. މ...

Shaving the beard is haraam because of the saheeh ahaadeeth that clearly state this, and because of the general application of texts that forbid resembling the kuffaar. One of these reports is the hadeeth of Ibn ‘Umar who said that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Be different from the mushrikeen: let your beards grow and trim your moustaches.” According to another report: “Trim your moustaches and let your beards grow.” There are other hadeeth which convey the same meaning, which is to leave the beard as it is and let it grow long, without shaving, plucking or cutting any part of it.
